Vali Gallery, Tehran
This group exhibition was developed around the concept of “place,” with a particular focus on the gallery space itself as the subject. Each artist approached the experience of being in space from a different perspective, responding to the relationship between body, gaze, and spatial presence.
Within this context, my works explore a re-reading of space through linear structures that detach from the surface and transform into suspended, condensed formations. Lines—typically carriers of a two-dimensional image—emerge here as three-dimensional flows, accumulating density along their path and acquiring a sense of physical presence.
These forms do not directly represent space; rather, they register movement within it—as if the paths traced through space, instead of fading away, remain and take shape. The result exists at the threshold between image and volume, between what is seen and what is experienced.
